Prior to 2009 Gary worked for 15 years as an Associate for a number of first class management training consultancies as client manager, project manager or as a facilitator / coach. He has successfully worked with managers and teams from Corus, Airbus, Orange, GlaxoSmithKline and London Overground, several departments with the NHS and multi-disciplinary sports physicians at Pure Sports Medicine.
Gary brings a very down to earth and accessible style that allows rapid learning for participants on learning programmes. His flexibility allows him to engage effectively with participants at all levels – from shop floor staff to senior decision makers. A strong belief in the ability of individuals to perform beyond their own expectations underpins all his work particularly in coaching.
Gary initially qualified as a coach from the Coaching Academy in 2003 and undertook subsequent qualification from the Centre for Coaching in 2005. He is a current member of the Association of Coaching and works within their code of ethics. He holds a number of well regarded licenses and accreditations including Myers Briggs Type Indicator with Oxford Psychological Press in 1999 and Emotional Intelligence accreditation with JCA associates in 2009. He is partway through a Diploma in Psychological Coaching with the Centre for Coaching and has completed modules in Coaching, Stress management and Performance Coaching. Gary recently qualified to use the Herman Brain Dominance Indicator HBDI as is using this in leadership development and coaching.
